Monthly Programs

Tasks performed at each visit:

  • Evaluate overall cosmetic condition

  • Inspect bilge

  • Inspect hoses and hose clamps

  • Inspect and clean raw water strainers

  • Check battery condition

  • Check oil, transmission and coolant levels

  • Run Engine(s) and also generator if present

  • Check shore power cord/plugs

  • Check bilge pump(s), switch and hoses

  • Inspect inside all hatches

  • Inspect canvas

  • Check dock lines

  • Check safety equipment

  • Basic wash-down / dry as needed

  • Other items can be added and are determined at initial inspection

  • Digital log for client produced at each visit

 

Monthly Program Pricing:

The above items are general and are dependent on the boat. This checklist will be customized with the owner after an initial visit. Prices will vary based on service need and quantity of service visits per year. Payments can be monthly or PIF for the entire year for a 10% discount.

 

Wash-downs and Detail Cleaning

All products used on your boat are quality marine-grade products. All soaps are biodegradable and eco-friendly. Care is taken to prevent scratching during wash or to inadvertently remove wax coatings.

 

Basic Wash-down ($8.50/ft)

Wash topsides, cushions, rub-rail to water line, glass, tower, swim platform, clean scupper drains, remove all trash/debris, dry glass and brightwork.

 

Detailed Wash-down ($12.00/ft)

All Basic Wash-down tasks plus clean hatches, clean mildew, wash canvas, wash under cushions, clean waterline (attempt to remove tannin stain or scum-line).

Cushion Mildew Removal ($8.00/ft)

Wash and dry all cushions including mesh side. Apply marine vinyl protectant.

Wax ($25.00/ft)

Wash / dry areas to be waxed, apply marine-grade wax. Ceramic coating can be requested at an additional charge.

 

Detail Clean and Wax ($35.00/ft)

All Detailed Wash-down tasks plus Wax tasks.

 

Compounding ($7.00/ft)

This is an additional cost for oxidized surfaces. Heavy oxidation may require additional application.

 

Project Based Work

A written estimate will be produced for $50. The estimate will be emailed or texted to the client for their written approval. The estimate-cost will be credited to the total invoice if the work is accepted. 

 

Fueling

Refueling is charged at a rate of 1.75 the locally available cost per gallon. Fuel octane will be per engine manufacturer. Typical spec is E10, 87 octane. Non-ethanol fuel can be requested for a rate of 1.80 times the locally available cost per gallon. 

 

Other One-time Tasks

Billed at normal hourly rate of $135/hr

(minimum charge is one hour)

  • Storm preparation

  • Safety checks

  • Meet with service techs or other vendors

  • Emergency visit

  • Start engine to operating temp and check oil and coolant

  • Clean raw water strainers

 

Trip Charge

If distance or conditions dictate, a minimum $50 trip charge will be added to the invoice. Typical jobs or regular maintenance programs will not have a trip charge associated with the service.
